This pattern is called Journeys and was designed by Jackie O'Brien and the Studio 180 Design group.  The pattern is set at a finished size of 102" x 102"  I have also made this quilt at a finished size of approximately 68" x 68".

The quilt on the left measures 102" x 102" and was made as a wedding gift.

The middle quilt and the quilt on the right both measure approximately 68" x 68". The middle quilt was made as a lap quilt for a customer's 91 year old mother. The right hand quilt was made as a baby gift for tummy time.

All three are the exact same pattern but, with different colors, look very different from each other.

The picture on the left is my long arm quilting machine.  I operate it completely manually and do not use any computerized programing.  I either use rulers or various types, or more often, I simply maneuver the machine to stitch where I want it to stitch.   This "free motion" quilting style guarantees that no two quilts I produce are exactly the same.

The middle and right pictures are examples of the quilting I produce. Some of the stitches are very angular, while others appear completely serendipitous. I try to respond to the pattern and also tie my quilting patterns into what I know about the recipient.
